I surrender myself to the god of dark,

The god of splinters, the god of remnants,

I surrender my doing,

I surrender the outcome.

I surrender.

Here, deep cocoon, warm.

Here, blanketed, cushioned.

Here, still and quiet.

Here, steady and safe.

Here.

Scalp, eyes, cheeks, nose, lips, chin.

Back of the body, front of the body.

Lungs breathing me, breathing life.

Arms and hands, legs and feet.

All of me.

In one, two three breaths I'll be up.

God of darkness, walk with me.

Dark shield in the bright of day.

God of splinters, hold together my broken pieces.

God of remnants, the treasure in what's left behind.

Smoothly into the day.

Already late, but here.

Surrendering to a greater holding,

Folding into the day,

Darkness, splinters, remnants.
