Poseidon

(oil pastel on paper)

I've been thinking about Poseidon.
Fierce god of all water.

Eaten by Cronus.

Eaten by his father, along with his siblings.

Only the mighty power of Zeus forcing Cronus to spit the infants back up.

All that pent up fury, turned into force. Force of water. Force of thrust. Unruly. Passionate. Fierce.

There is a place for fierce rage in the depths.
